 About

The Eritrean Youth Dance Group of Seattle was formed in 1997 by Senait Ogbe Habte, in an effort to allow youth of Eritrean descent living in the Seattle area an opportunity to preserve their native culture while sharing their customs and traditions with the rest of the world. Representation matters and our goal is to equip our youth with a sense of identity and belonging to their Eritrean roots. We do this through dance and try our best to showcase all 9 ethnolinguistic groups of Eritrea.
